San Antonio has been the subject of numerous prophetic messages over the years with many spiritual leaders and prophets speaking into the city’s destiny and calling. These messages have ranged from visions of divine intervention and blessings to calls for revival and awakening. Chuck Pierce, Lance Wallnau, and Cindy Jacobs are among the several figures who have delivered prophetic messages to San Antonio, each offering unique insights and perspectives on the city’s future.  Let’s meet them.

This ancient "Mission City," founded over three centuries ago to spread the light of Christ, has become a focal point for divine proclamations about its future role.

San Antonio: Called to be a Model City

Chuck Pierce: 

"God showed me a capital arising out of San Antonio," declares Chuck Pierce, a prominent prophetic voice. In a powerful decree over the city, he envisions the dawn of a new era – a realignment of the Americas with San Antonio poised as a beacon of transformative change. According to a Charisma News report, Pierce received what many believe to be a divine message offering an extraordinary glimpse into America's future. 

As a guest speaker during the City Reachers 20th anniversary conference, Pierce expanded on this prophecy. City Reachers, a prophetic prayer and networking ministry founded by Eileen Vincent and co-led by Natalie Hardy, focused on revival and strategic intercessory prayer. Addressing the audience, Pierce said, "San Antonio, I consider to be a hinge city for America." Emphasizing the critical role of San Antonio in shaping the nation's future, he adds, "How the gate swings in San Antonio becomes very key to our future and the future of America."

Referring to San Antonio as a harvest city, Pierce went on to say that the harvest has begun and that harvesters would rise from San Antonio.

A Prophetic Vision for San Antonio

Lance Wallnau, a renowned Christian leader, has a profound vision for the city of San Antonio. He believes that God is weaving a tapestry of unity and authority in the hearts of the faithful, setting the stage for divine intervention, blessings, and answered prayers to descend upon the city.

According to Wallnau, the unwavering support of John Hagee Ministries for Israel has sown seeds of blessing that will bear fruit in San Antonio. He foresees leaders from around the world seeking to be part of God's work in the city, drawn by the spiritual momentum generated by Hagee's ministry.

Speaking at Faith Outreach Church, Wallnau shared his conviction: "I believe that Brother Hagee's sowing into Israel has stored up intervention and a blessing for the city of San Antonio that is coming down upon the city."

Moreover, Wallnau envisions San Antonio becoming a hub for international business relationships, with mayors and leaders from various nations converging to partake in the impartation of God's work.

A Calling of Unity and Authority

At the core of Wallnau's prophecy is the belief that San Antonio has a significant calling as God weaves unity and authority into the hearts of believers. This spiritual transformation will pave the way for the city to become a beacon of divine purpose and influence.

Cindy Jacobs: "Persevering for Reformation: A Season of WAR"

Cindy Jacobs describes what that season of unity will look like. 

Years ago, Cindy Jacobs prophesied about our city at another City Reachers conference declaring: "The Lord says, 'I am ushering in a new season for this city. The sound of WAR (Wisdom And Revelation) will be released in an unprecedented measure. My Spirit hovers over San Antonio, TX, preparing to unveil something entirely new—a surprise beyond your imagination. As the judge, I will establish justice in the gates and distinctly separate good from evil, beginning right here.'"

Her exhortation points to the Holy Spirit’s revelation that San Antonio is God’s Strong Arm, a city of spiritual activity and authority. To emphasize this, Jacobs prophesies, “This city is going to be a city known for people of great authority, who have the anointing for the tipping point to change the Nation.” 

Righteousness and Justice will Marry in San Antonio

Jacobs went on to say that God promises a Latino connection from San Antonio, and immigration reform will be part of His shaking of the heavens. Righteousness and justice will be powerfully united, bringing a message of the cross to the city. In her message, she says the city council will be the first place for change.  

Get the Job Done!

Jacobs adds that God desires a great awakening for the city, and declared San Antonio will be a racist-free zone.  However, she says, the responsibility lies with San Antonians to make it happen.

There is a common thread of unity connecting believers in San Antonio. There are questions too. Is there a time where we will link arms in Christ, regardless of theology and denomination?  After all, we are called the Mission City.  Will we rise to the meaning of this name? We believe so. Do you?
