Centennial Celebration

2025 Event Themes & Schedule

  • RETURN | SAT. | MAY 24TH

Returning is a profoundly transformative and spiritual act beyond mere sorrow for one’s wrongdoings. It is a radical shift in mindset and behavior, signifying a turning away from sin and toward God.

Returning is a comprehensive process involving a change in thinking, a turning from sin, a commitment to following God, and an ongoing transformation of character.

It is marked by humility, confession, and a desire for restoration in relationship with God. When Returning has taken place, the door to Reuniting opens, and the peace that was broken—first with God and then with others—can be restored.

  • REUNITE | SUN. | MAY 25TH

Reuniting refers to restoring a broken relationship with God and others. It is a foundational theme in the Bible. Reuniting restores harmony and peace, primarily between humanity and God, but also between individuals and communities.

Reuniting requires Returning, forgiveness, and a willingness to restore peace in broken relationships. It is an ongoing process, empowered by the Holy Spirit, extending vertically (with God) and horizontally (between individuals and communities).

Through Reuniting, the Church becomes a unified body, embracing God’s forgiveness and the opportunity to heal fractured relationships within the Body of Christ and with the community.

  • RENEWAL | MON. | MAY 26TH

Renewal refers to a spiritual awakening that brings about a return to God, often following a period of spiritual decline or complacency. It involves a profound, transformative renewal of faith, a rekindling of devotion, and a fresh outpouring of God’s presence and power.

Renewal is not merely a return to old ways or a temporary renewal; it is a complete transformation, a renewal of strength, passion, and purpose for God’s kingdom.

Renewal is initiated by God and marked by believers' restoration to a vibrant relationship with Him. It involves Returning, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and a renewed passion for worship, holiness, and the mission of evangelism.

Renewal leads to profound personal transformation, societal change, and an increase in the fruitfulness of God’s kingdom. It is an act of grace that empowers the Church to fulfill its purpose in the world.
